【摘要】:Thisstandardappliestobase-mounteddrumhoistsarrangeformountingonafoundationorothersupportingstructureforliftingorloweringloads,toderrickswingers,andtoanyvariationswhichretainthesamefundamentalcharacteristics.Thescopeincludeshoistswhicharepoweredbyinternalcombustionengines,electrimotors,compressedair,orhydraulics,wndwhichutilizedrumsandrope.Thestandarddoesnotapplytooverheadhoists,carpullers,bargepullers,truckbodyhoists,orotherhoistsorwinchesusedexclusivelyinhorizontalpullingapplications.Provisionsofthisstandarddonotencompassallofthesafetyprecautionsandsafeguardsapplicablewhenhoistloadsconsistwholly,orinpart,ofpersonnel.ForpersonnelhandlinghoistsrefertoANSIA10.4.Whenbase-mounteddrumhoistsareusedasanintegralpartofotherliftingequipment,thisstandardmaynotapply.
