【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoverspolyamidematerialssuitableformoldingandextrusion.Someofthesecompositionsarealsosuitableforapplicationfromsolution.1.2Thisclassificationsystemallowsfortheuseofrecycledpolyamidematerialsprovidedthattherequirementsasstatedinthisclassificationsystemaremet.Theproportionsofrecycledmaterialused,aswellasthenatureandamountofanycontaminant,however,cannotbecoveredpracticallyinthisspecification.1.3Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.1.4Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecallout(specification)areintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassificationsystem.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisclassificationsystem.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.Note18212;ThisclassificationsystemissimilartoISO1874-1/-2,althoughthetechnicalcontentissignificantlydifferent.
